This is a short client guide to finding and using the Vault in your eMoney portal. If you need help, our office is glad to assist.

What is the eMoney Vault?

The Vault feature of your eMoney website lets you safely and securely store important documents and files (wills, trusts, insurance documents, passports, and the like) in electronic format. It helps you organize and protect your most important files, and it allows you and Stonehearth to share documents securely.

Where to find the eMoney Vault

When you log into your eMoney account, click “Vault” at the top of the page. Inside, you will find folders for organizing your documents:

  • The Shared Documents folder is for files you want to share with us, or for documents Stonehearth securely sends to you.

  • The Orion folder is where Stonehearth posts your quarterly reports and your Charles Schwab statements and tax forms.

  • The My Private Documents folder is for storing private files.

How do I upload a document to my Vault?

Using the Shared Documents folder as an example: open the folder and click the “Upload” button at the top right of the screen. Choose the file option, locate the file on your device, and select it to upload. If it is something you would like us to review, please reach out to our office to let us know.

Security is a priority: the site uses advanced encryption to help protect your information, and it is read-only, which makes it unlikely for funds to be moved in or out of the system.
